Once again... I am Infinite Interactive's dirty dirty whore.
Most of you know that my video game drug of choice is Puzzle Quest: Challenge of The Warlords. And you might remember the bitter disappointment I felt after playing the sequel, Galactrix
Well, after taking a break from Cave Story (Stupid forgotten about Life Jar...), I picked up the third game in the PQ series, Puzzle Kingdoms. And while I can't really say "All is forgiven" (that comes when us PC players finally get the Warlords expansion Revenge Of The Plague Lord), but Puzzle Kingdoms comes close. They wisely ditched the mini-game dependant play of Galactrix and went with a "Fire Emblem meets Chuzzle" type interface (the entire row/column you choose slides depending on which way you move. Like Warlords, the mini-games are dedicated to unlocking bigger and better units, spells, artifacts, and allies.
And it's addictive as hell, once you get the hang of how things work.
